چکیده

Stanley A. Erickson received a doctorate in mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1974 and has been working at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory since 1977. Until the early 1990s, Mr. Erickson’s work was focused primarily on military devices. More recently, he has been involved in nonproliferation efforts, including nuclear site security, nuclear smuggling prevention, nuclear fuel cycle questions, and nuclear export control.The work for this article was performed under the auspices of the U.S. Department of Energy through the University of California, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory under contract No. W-7405-Eng-48. The opinions expressed in this article are those of the author and do not necessarily represent those of the laboratory, the U.S. Department of Energy, or the U.S. government.
